Audition Information

Meridian Little Theatre is always looking for new talent on stage—young and seasoned alike. MLT is your community theatre and auditions are open to everyone in the community and surrounding areas. Reading the play is not required before an audition, although you can come by the main office and read a perusal copy of the play you are auditioning for, however, the perusal copy may not leave the building. Even if you have never been in a play before, don’t be shy about auditioning!
All auditions are held at MLT’s Hwy 39 Playhouse unless otherwise indicated. Auditions for each play are conducted 6-8 weeks prior to each production. Audition announcements are always placed in The Meridian Star and other news media.

Too shy for the stage but still want to be a part of MLT?
MLT is always looking for new faces to help backstage during productions. It takes one stage manager and a crew of 5-6 backstage volunteers for each production. If you would like to train to be a stage manager or work backstage, please call the office at 601-482-6371 or send an e-mail to the office.
